Lakland Skyline 55-60 5-String — Lake Placid Blue

The Lakland Skyline 55-60 5-String Bass combines classic Jazz-style character with the extended range, playability, and low-B definition demanded by modern bass players. Finished in striking Lake Placid Blue, this instrument pairs timeless styling with professional performance.

Its 35" scale length provides excellent string tension and helps deliver a tight, articulate low B while maintaining clarity across the entire fretboard. The dual J-style pickup configuration offers a wide range of natural, dynamic tones. Use the neck pickup for warm, full-bodied sounds or bring in the bridge pickup for added definition, growl, and midrange presence.

With passive electronics and Volume/Volume/Tone controls, the 55-60 responds naturally to your playing dynamics while retaining the familiar character of a traditional J-style bass. Block fingerboard inlays, chrome hardware, and the classic finish complete its refined appearance.

Whether you're performing live, recording in the studio, or looking for a versatile everyday 5-string, the Lakland 55-60 delivers strong low-end performance, clear articulation, and classic bass character.
