New: Sadowsky MetreExpress Modern 6 String (2026 NAMM Show Featured)

2026 NAMM Show Featured Instrument | Upgraded Sadowsky Electronics

Bass Enterprises is proud to offer this very special Sadowsky MetroExpress 24-Fret Modern 6-String Bass, finished in stunning Candy Apple Red Metallic High Polish.

What makes this particular instrument especially desirable is its history and upgraded electronics: this specific bass was featured at the 2026 NAMM Show and has been upgraded with a Sadowsky preamp featuring VTC (Vintage Tone Control) and a Mid Boost switch, giving it considerably more tonal flexibility than the standard configuration.

For the player looking for a modern extended-range Sadowsky with professional features, premium playability, and a unique NAMM connection, this is an exceptional opportunity.

Modern Sadowsky Design

The MetroExpress Modern features Sadowsky’s sleek, undersized body with deeper cutaways and a full two-octave, 24-fret range, providing excellent access across the entire fingerboard.

The solid Okoume body is paired with a Roasted Maple C-shaped neck and Morado fingerboard. A flat 20” radius gives the bass a fast, modern feel that’s particularly well suited to a 6-string instrument.

Its 34” scale length provides a familiar playing feel while maintaining the extended range of a full 6-string setup.

Upgraded Sadowsky Preamp — VTC + Mid Boost

This particular bass goes beyond the standard MetroExpress electronics package.

It has been upgraded with a Sadowsky preamp featuring VTC and a Mid Boost switch, expanding the tonal possibilities while retaining the unmistakable Sadowsky character.

The VTC (Vintage Tone Control) provides additional control over the high-frequency response, making it possible to move from the crisp, articulate Sadowsky sound toward warmer and more vintage-inspired tones.

The added Mid Boost provides another valuable layer of control—especially useful when you need additional presence, definition, or authority in a live or studio mix.

Combined with the dual Sadowsky passive Soapbar pickups in modern positions, this bass can cover everything from deep, clean fundamentals to articulate slap tones, rich chords, solo work, and aggressive modern sounds.

24 Frets. 6 Strings. Serious Range.

With six strings and a full 24-fret/two-octave fingerboard, this Sadowsky offers an enormous musical range.

The deeper cutaways provide easy access to the upper register, while the wide, relatively flat fingerboard gives extended-range players the space needed for chords, tapping, soloing, and more technical playing.
